Volunteer on dock

Challenged Sailors San Diego is an entirely volunteer supported program.

We need volunteers to help out in a variety of capacities, including:

    - Companion sailors

    - Boat maintenance and dock support

    - Back office support

    - Fund raising and public relations

Challenged Sailors San Diego has a fleet of eight Martin 16 sailboats specifically designed for adaptive sailing.

Our facilities are accessible and equipped with lifts for transferring sailors from wheelchairs into the boat.

Challenged Sailors San Diego provides therapeutic and recreational adaptive sailing opportunities for people with disabilities to enhance their dignity, well being, and independence.
